What kind of dream might unfold when men’s nailist Kota meets KOKOIST? A nail design that blushes red, spreading like body warmth. From there, there’s no turning back. A sweet yet bitter tangle with no way out – a world of temptation, created by one fateful meeting.

「今回のネイルは、撮影テーマである「SWEET TEMPTATION」はもちろん、何よりモデルを務めていただいたKotaさんをイメージしてデザインしました。まるで指先からフェロモンが溢れ出すような、「誘惑」を感じさせる色気を表現しています。

写真から感じていただけると思うのですが、光の当たり方によって表情が変わるよう、透け感を意識したグラデーションに仕上げました。根元にはBOTTLEN’ GOのブラックを使用し、エッジに向かってインクを混ぜた赤へのグラデーションで、妖しくも魅力的な雰囲気を演出しています。さらにシルバーのポイントアートを添えることで、自分らしいバランスにまとめました。

また、BOBA GELを使ったウェービーな3Dアートもプラスしています。実はこの3Dは感性の赴くままに制作していて、いくつも作った中から全体のバランスを見ながら最終的なチップを選んでいます。一方でシェイプは、スティレットのGelipを斜めにカットしてシャープな印象に。柔らかなウェーブ状の3Dとエッジの効いたフォルム、そのコントラストがこのデザインのポイントです。」

Interview with Nail Artist Miki Nohara

This nail design was inspired not only by the shoot’s theme, SWEET TEMPTATION, but above all by Kota, the model for this project. I wanted to capture a sense of allure and sensuality – as if temptation itself were radiating from the fingertips.

As you can see in the photographs, the translucent gradient was designed to shift in appearance depending on the light. A BOTTLEN’ GO black base fades into a deep red infused with ink towards the tips, creating an atmosphere that feels both mysterious and captivating. I also added silver accents to bring the look together in a way that feels true to my own aesthetic and incorporated flowing 3D details using BOBA GEL. These elements were created entirely by instinct; I made several variations before selecting the final tips based on the overall balance. In contrast, the shape was kept sharp by cutting Stiletto Gelip on a diagonal. The interplay between the fluid, wave-like 3D details and the sharp silhouette is one of the key features of this design.
