TITLE: Shatter and Create　破壊と創造

頭に浮かんだのは「爆発」のイメージでした。破壊の瞬間に生まれるエネルギーや、そこから広がる新しい形。壊れることは終わりではなく、次の創造の始まりでもある。ネイルという繊細な素材を使い、破壊と創造が同時に生まれる瞬間を表現しました。ビルダージェルをラップをくしゃくしゃにした上で硬化し、クラックを表現し、アクリル絵の具とアクリルパウダーを混ぜることで、ペースト状にし質感を出しました。

The image that came to mind was that of an “explosion” – the energy born in a moment of destruction, and the new forms that spread from it. Destruction is not an end, but the beginning of the next creation. Using the delicate medium of nails, I sought to express the moment in which destruction and creation emerge simultaneously. Builder gel was cured over crumpled cling film to create a cracked effect, while acrylic paint was mixed with acrylic powder to form a paste, adding depth and texture.

あえて美しいハンドモデルではなく「私の手」を型取り、石膏を流し製作。子育て、家事、お客様のネイルやものづくりに向き合ってきた私のパートナーである、私の両手です。子育てやキャリアの狭間で揺れ動く40代の今が、少しずつ開花し、展開していく様子を重ねています。 悔しさに涙した時間も、喜びに満ちた家族との瞬間も、全て私の手から生み出されてきました。誠実に技術に対し、そして人生に対し向き合い続けること。その中で苦しみ、悩みながらも、それでも人は確かに開花していく。その願いと想いを、石膏の手そしてジェルの透明なモチーフに込めました。

Rather than using a conventional hand model, I cast my own hands in plaster. These hands have supported me through raising children, managing a household, and working as a nail artist. I’m now in my 40s, that in-between season where motherhood and career pull in different directions, where identity shifts quietly and slowly begins to bloom. This work holds that unfolding. Moments of frustration and tears, as well as joyful times with my family, have all been created through my hands. By facing both my craft and my life with sincerity, I believe we continue to grow, even through struggle. That belief, that hope, lives in the plaster cast of my hands and in the clear gel forms that rise from them.

TITLE: LOVE & PEACE

戦争、差別、否定、絶えない争いを憂いて吹いても消せない愛の蝋燭をモチーフにした創作。不均衡で無彩な背景に戦争を落とし込んだキャンバスは憤りを可視化している。魂をモチーフにした球に争いを無くすキーワードを乗せ、ピンクの花に希望と笑顔の思いを込め、キャンドルを象ったハートの炎には平和への願いを表現。ネイルチップ にマグジェルとフラッシュジェルで色付けた花、クリアジェルとグリッターで造った球体、炎にはネンドジェル、ネイルボトルやシリコンブラシの柄などネイルツールも駆使した作品。

A work inspired by a candle of love that cannot be blown out – born from sorrow over war, discrimination, rejection, and endless conflict. A canvas layered with war against an unbalanced, colorless background makes rage visible. Spheres inspired by souls carry keywords for the elimination of conflict. Pink flowers hold the wish for hope and smiles. The heart-shaped flame of the candle expresses a prayer for peace. The flowers are colored with magnet and flash gel on nail tips, the spheres are formed from clear gel and glitter, the flame from clay gel – with nail tools including nail bottles and silicone brush handles also used throughout.

TITLE: 咲層〜Bloom Layers〜

重なり合う花びらは、時間と技術の層。アクリルスカルプチュアと向き合い続けてきた歳月を、ネイルの枠から飛び出しひとつの“かたち”として表現。`ohana×DWMEのアクリルパウダーを用いて単色の中に光と影を落とし込み、質感と個性を最大限に引き出しながら色の重なりを楽しみました。

Layered petals represent the accumulation of time and technique. The years spent engaging with acrylic sculpture are expressed beyond the confines of nails, taking form as a single, tangible shape. Using ohana × DWME acrylic powder, light and shadow are embedded within a single colour, allowing the texture and individuality to emerge while celebrating the depth created through layers of colour.

TITLE: 白の起伏
NAME: mayumi / Hi,
MATERIAL: PRACTICE HAND / FABRIC / COTTON / CORD / WOOD

感情や時間など何もないように見える中にある、微細な変化や存在感を素材の違い、白で無・余白を表現しました。上から横から斜めからと角度を変えて見ると違うものに見えるような楽しさも含めました。

Within what appears to be nothing – emotionless, timeless – I expressed subtle shifts and a quiet sense of presence through differences in materials, using white to evoke emptiness and space.　By viewing it from above, the side, or at an angle, the work reveals different expressions, inviting a sense of discovery and play.

TITLE: ARCHIVE
NAME: RIKA OKI / SHERRY DOLCE

この作品は、サロンに眠っていた今まで自分が作成してきたネイルチップを用い、ネイリストとして歩んできた私自身の変化と時間を記録したアーカイブのようなもの。 20年以上にわたり、無数のデザインを生み出してきた中で、今見返すと未熟さや迷い、技術の揺らぎも、かつては拙く感じたものや、思い通りにならなかったデザインも、今では私の軌跡そのものとして愛おしいと思えるもの。 そんな思いをひとつの構造として再構築することで、成功も未完成も包み込みながら、私が歩んできたすべての過去の痕跡の断片をひとつにした作品。。

This work uses nail tips I had kept in my salon – pieces I created over the years – as an archive that records my own transformation and the passage of time as a nail artist. Over more than 20 years of producing countless designs, what I see now includes moments of immaturity, hesitation, and fluctuations in technique. Designs that once felt inadequate or failed to meet my expectations have become, with time, something deeply cherished – an honest reflection of my journey. By reconstructing these thoughts into a single structure, this piece embraces both success and incompletion, bringing together fragments of every trace of the past I have walked through.
