2012年のスタート以来、ネイルを通して自由な発想と表現力を発信してきた、ヒューマンアカデミー主催のネイルアートコンテスト。第13回のテーマは「Freely Breezy！－自由に、軽やかに！－」。スチューデント、プロフェッショナル、ジュニアの3部門に寄せられた個性あふれる作品の中から、見事受賞に輝いた作品をご紹介

Since its launch in 2012, the nail art competition organised by Human Academy has continued to celebrate free-thinking creativity and self-expression through nail art. The theme for its 13th edition is ‘Freely Breezy! – Free and Light!’. From the wealth of distinctive entries submitted across the three categories — Student, Professional and Junior — we present the outstanding works that have earned this year’s awards.

作品名『Moonlight Breeze of Smeraldo』

“Freely Breezy!”というテーマから、月明かりに照らされた“スメラルド”をそよ風が優しく包み込み、蝶が羽ばたく情景をイメージしました。“スメラルド”は伝えられなかった真実を秘めた架空の花。エアブラシやフラットアート、3Dアート等のさまざまな技法を用い、月明かりやそよ風、感情の光と影を表現しました。3Dアートはアクリルで１つ１つ制作し、エアブラシで彩色しています。異なる技法を組み合わせながらも透明感を軸に色彩を統一し、作品全体に一体感を持たせ、色彩やそれぞれのアート配置のバランスにこだわりました。この作品は、想いは風のように目には見えなくても、そっと心に寄り添う、その美しさと儚さを表現しました。

Inspired by the theme ‘Freely Breezy!’, I imagined a scene in which ‘Smeraldo’, illuminated by moonlight, is gently embraced by a soft breeze as butterflies flutter through the air.‘Smeraldo’ is a fictional flower said to hold an unspoken truth. Using a range of techniques, including airbrushing, flat nail art and 3D art, I sought to express the moonlight, the gentle breeze, and the interplay of light and shadow within our emotions. Each 3D element was individually sculpted in acrylic and then coloured using an airbrush.Although the piece combines a variety of techniques, I unified the colour palette around a sense of translucency to create harmony throughout the work. Particular attention was paid to the balance of colour and the placement of each individual art element.Through this piece, I wanted to express the beauty and fragility of emotions — invisible like the wind, yet quietly present, gently staying close to the heart.

作品名『Rainbow Flower』

虹色の中に風を感じられる様なイメージで、葉っぱやリボンで空間を風が通り抜ける動きのある作品に仕上げました。

Inspired by the feeling of a breeze moving through a rainbow of colours, I created a dynamic piece in which the wind seems to flow through the leaves and ribbons. The composition captures a sense of movement and lightness, as though the air itself is gently passing through the design.

作品名『風の街の散歩』

いつか訪れてみたい地中海の街並みを、自由気ままにお散歩する猫をイメージして制作しました。窓の向こうから吹き抜ける海風や、穏やかな時間の流れを表現し、“Freely Breezy!”というテーマを作品全体に込めています。一枚一枚丁寧に作り上げたタイルの精密さや、猫の柔らかな毛並み、外壁の質感など、素材の違いを細部まで表現したこともこだわりのポイントです。

I created this piece around the image of a cat wandering freely through the streets of a Mediterranean town I hope to visit one day. The sea breeze drifting in through the windows and the gentle passing of time are woven throughout the work, capturing the spirit of the theme, ‘Freely Breezy!’.　I also paid close attention to the finer details, from the precision of each individually crafted tile to the softness of the cat’s fur and the texture of the exterior walls. 作品名『風花翔』

風に乗って舞う花びらのように、心のまま自由に、軽やかに羽ばたく、私自身の生き方そのものに、孔雀の優雅さと、透明感のある羽や花が織りなす“解放”と“希望”を表現した作品にしました。

Like petals dancing on the breeze, this piece reflects the way I choose to live — freely, lightly and true to my heart. Through the elegance of the peacock, together with translucent feathers and flowers, I sought to express a sense of liberation and hope, capturing the feeling of spreading one’s wings and moving forward without restraint.

『夏の空、その先へ』

夏の空から宇宙へと続く風の流れをイメージしました。風鈴やクジラ、金魚が風に乗って自由に空を泳ぎ、最後は地球へとつながる、軽やかで幻想的な世界を表現しました。

I imagined a current of wind flowing from the summer sky into outer space. Wind chimes, whales and goldfish drift freely through the air on the breeze, eventually leading towards the Earth. Through this piece, I sought to create a light, dreamlike world filled with a sense of freedom and fantasy.

作品名『悠遊自在』

鯉は水中を、鶴は大空を自由に巡り、日本の伝統美と生命力、そして自由な心を表現いたしました。パーツ一つ一つを丁寧に作成し鶴や傘扇子等も全て自分で作成いたしました。

The carp moving freely through the water and the cranes soaring across the open sky symbolise the beauty of Japanese tradition, the vitality of life and a spirit of freedom. Every element was carefully handcrafted, including the cranes, parasols and folding fans, with close attention paid to each individual detail.

作品名『海の贈り物』

夏の海の景色や生き物を、透明感と立体感を活かして表現した作品です。海の美しさや夏の思い出を感じ、見る人が癒される作品になるよう心を込めて制作しました。

This piece captures the scenery and marine life of a summer sea, making the most of translucency and three-dimensional detail. I created it with the hope of conveying the beauty of the ocean and the memories of summer, while offering a sense of calm and comfort to those who see it.
